The book traces his political journey spanning nearly three decades and provides a rare glimpse into his vision, convictions, traits and beliefs.
The book delineates the legacy of Abul Kalam Azad (1888-1959) and Hasrat Mohani (d.1951) including their scholarly merits, vision, secularism and commitment to Hindu-Muslim unity. It provides a comprehensive historical account of lesser known facts about the 1857 Mutiny and immense contribution by a galaxy of ulamas (religious scholars) in India’s freedom struggle.
